On the occasion of the launch of Ysé’s new Les Essentiels collection, we have joined forces to explore what is most intimate to us: our daily gestures, our rituals, our tribe, and the people who shape it.
Ysé is a brand that, like us, holds bodies close to its heart. Together, we have given a voice to four inspiring women, with diverse journeys and ideas, who have allowed us to rethink intimacy in new ways.

Can you introduce yourself?
I’m Vanessa, a photo stylist and single mom of three children: Lilie (12), Carmen (7), and Samson (2.5). I started a fashion blog in 2009 alongside my styling career, and ever since, I’ve been sharing glimpses of my life—especially my looks and favorite spots—on Instagram (@vanessa_perroud).
I cherish precious moments with my family, love discovering great restaurants with my friends, and enjoy life’s little pleasures. My paternal grandmother was Vietnamese, and I’m deeply connected to my roots… Now, I just need to finally take that trip to Vietnam!
What are your three essentials for a fulfilling life?
Sunday movie ritual: A cozy moment snuggled up with my kids, watching a film together.
Laughing with my girlfriends: Sharing stories about our dating adventures over a good glass of wine is my favorite escape.
Exercise: A must-have for both my physical and mental well-being.

Has your perspective on essentials changed over time?
Absolutely!
My beauty routine has evolved. For years, I only used a basic moisturizer without really following a skincare routine. Thanks to my Vietnamese genes, I never had to worry too much! But now, I take more time for myself and have incorporated more skincare into my daily habits.
Time with my children has become priceless. Becoming a mom has completely reshaped my outlook, and every moment with them is precious.
I focus on family and close friends. I used to feel the need to be surrounded by a large social circle. Now, I prefer spending time with the people who have truly been there for me, through both the highs and the lows.
