On the occasion of the launch of Ysé’s new Les Essentiels collection, we have joined forces to explore what is most intimate to us: our daily gestures, our rituals, our tribe, and the people who shape it.
Ysé is a brand that, like us, holds bodies close to its heart. Together, we have given a voice to four inspiring women, with diverse journeys and ideas, who have allowed us to rethink intimacy in new ways.

Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Lou, I’m 29 years old, and I will soon be a mother. I have been a freelance community manager for several years, as well as a content creator and UGC creator on Instagram.
For the past few months, my work has slowed down: with my baby on the way, it has become more difficult for me to create visual content. My body is changing, between nausea and the difficulty of standing for long periods. But I see this time as a unique opportunity—to refocus and take care of myself during this first pregnancy.
What are your three essentials for a balanced life?
Talm’s Mega Balm: My must-have since the beginning of my pregnancy. I apply it to my belly every day and I’m already on my second jar. The scent, the texture… even my pets are obsessed with it!
Aime’s dry brush: It helps boost circulation in my legs—something I really need right now! Plus, it feels great, so it’s the perfect combo.
Baths: I’m lucky to have a bathtub in my countryside home, and I take full advantage of it. It’s a real moment of relaxation, helping to soothe my contractions and creating a special bond with my baby, who moves around so much when I’m in the water.

Has your perspective on essentials changed over time?
Everything has changed. I’ve grown, I’ve matured. My experiences, my personal and professional encounters have deeply transformed how I see things.
On a professional level: I’ve realized how important it is to work in a healthy environment, with people who align with my values, or to be self-employed and choose my clients and schedule.
On a personal level: I met someone who restored my confidence in myself and to whom I, in turn, chose to give my trust. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have believed that possible.
If I could give one piece of advice to those going through a period of uncertainty: hold on, don’t give up, surround yourself with the right people, keep trying new things, and most importantly, enjoy life. Everything passes.
