Lilac February: caring for women differently, with Unicancer
At talm, caring for women goes beyond the skin.
It's about supporting bodies through their realities, their transformations, sometimes their vulnerability, always their strength.
For the occasion of Lilac February and World Cancer Day, we have chosen to support Unicancer, a key player in the care and research of women's cancers in France, by donating 1% of our digital revenue for the month of February to the federation.

Women's Cancers: Still Too Prevalent a Reality
In France, women's cancers affect hundreds of thousands of women each year. Breast cancer, gynecological cancers, hormone-dependent cancers... Behind these words lie disrupted life paths, changing bodies, and women undergoing heavy treatments, sometimes at key moments in their lives.
Informing, preventing, and improving care remain major challenges. But for us, one thing is essential: addressing these topics with accuracy.
Unicancer: Treat, Support, Advance Research
Unicancer federates the French comprehensive cancer centres (Fccs) spread across the entire French territory. These centers play a key role in the care of women’s cancers:
-
They treat a significant proportion of women with breast cancer and gynecological cancers in France.
-
They integrate many patients into clinical trials to advance treatments.
-
They develop a comprehensive approach that combines medical care with supportive care (psychology, nutrition, adapted physical activity, social support).

At the heart of Unicancer's action is a strong conviction: better care also means better support for life during and after illness.
Concretely, this represents:
-
30% of women with breast cancer treated in these centers
-
22.1% of women with gynecological cancer
-
16% of breast cancer patients included in clinical trials
These figures reflect a reality: the Fccs play a central role in access to specialized care, therapeutic innovation, and clinical research.
Prevent, personalize, lighten the care pathway
The research conducted by Unicancer is not solely aimed at curing. It also aims to:
-
Detect earlier
-
Personalize treatments
-
Reduce their burden where possible
-
Preserve women's quality of life
Many innovative projects are being carried out within the centers, focusing on personalized prevention, therapeutic de-escalation, and the early integration of supportive care.
Other concrete projects are being implemented to serve women.
NovaSein rethinks the support for women after breast cancer by integrating supportive care from the recovery phase.
Mobile prevention units reach out to women who are most distant from the healthcare system.
Research programs aim to reduce chemotherapy when it does not provide additional benefit.
These initiatives reflect a strong desire: to offer more equitable, more humane care, better adapted to the realities of each woman.

Why this commitment resonates with talm
At talm, we have always conceived care as support.
Our products are formulated to respect sensitive bodies, periods of transformation, and moments of fragility. We speak of prevention, gentleness, constancy, never perfection.
Supporting Unicancer, means extending this vision of care:
-
More equitable care
-
More humane care
-
Care that considers women in their entirety
We know that it is not our calling to cure cancer. But we also know that we can support those who dedicate their expertise, energy, and research to it.
Lilac February: A Concrete Commitment
Throughout February, talm donates 1% of its digital revenue to Unicancer. A simple, but committed gesture. To support research, innovation, and the improvement of care pathways. Because caring also means acting, at our level.
Lilac February is not a month to instill fear. It is a time to inform, support, and remind that care can be gentler, more human, and more attentive to the realities of women.
At talm, we will continue to care for bodies. And, through this commitment, to support those who care for life.
